Keith Anderson
Chief Executive Officer
Keith serves as chief executive officer of Vatica, responsible for overseeing daily operations and achieving the organization’s strategic objectives. He leads the team in serving national and regional health plan clients, as well as more than 13,000 contracted providers. Keith was formerly the general manager of Optum at Home (a DSNP health plan) and chief strategy officer for the Home and Community division. Previously, he held various general management, operational and strategy positions across Optum several divisions in the 18 years with the organization. Keith started his career in the financial sector before transitioning into healthcare.
Whitney Chernoff brings 20 years of healthcare technology experience as a client management executive and transformational business leader. As the chief customer officer at Vatica Health, Whitney leads the PCP and payer client engagement teams as well as Vatica’s Physician Advisory Board, ensuring PCP and market feedback drives technology, innovation and product strategy.
Lindsay is a licensed attorney with extensive experience in legal and compliance roles at various healthcare organizations, including medical supply distribution, wound care, and health care technology companies. As the leader of the legal and compliance functions at Vatica, she is responsible for overseeing contracting and other legal matters as well as regulatory and contractual compliance at the company.
Shannon is a certified nurse practitioner with over 25 years of clinical experience in adult health, including critical care, internal medicine and orthopedic surgery. She is also a certified risk adjustment coder. As the leader of clinical operations, she is responsible for provider services, including implementation, member engagement, training and ongoing clinical support.
Sumant has more than 25 years of experience with enterprise SaaS and data solutions, serving patients and driving outcomes. He launched several commercially successful solutions, in one case scaling a SaaS solution five times in less than five years. More recently he launched two business lines focused on technology and AI, to a successful exit in 2023. Sumant managed revenue lines of over 100 mm and operated to gross margins of over 65% consistently. He led teams in a variety of organizations, including SCIO Health (now part of EXL Technologies) and Cotiviti. Suman maintains a laser focus on market expansion, cost discipline, product innovation and developing pragmatic processes. He is passionate about product innovation and shares that enthusiasm with his teams, emphasizing a strong patient-centric culture while committing to technology and data innovation as a differentiator.
Josh Rubel
Chief Growth Officer
Josh oversees sales of Cozeva + Vatica solutions to both payers and providers. He is responsible for developing sales strategy to meet the organization’s annual growth goals with a focus on sales process excellence, customer success and employee development. Josh has more than 25 years of experience in commercial growth, spanning several healthcare technology organizations.
As CAO, Scott oversees internal operations, ensuring that administrative functions run efficiently and align with strategic goals. He is also responsible for scaling the business by optimizing workflows and supporting cross-functional coordination. In his role as CFO, Scott oversees the organization’s financial management, including financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, budgeting and cost management. Scott has more than 30 years in the healthcare, financial services and insurance industries. His experience spans some of the nation’s largest health insurers.
Sara Stokman
EVP, Commercial Operations
Sara serves as the executive vice president of commercialization at Vatica. In this role, she leads Vatica’s product development strategy, fosters growth through client solutioning and builds sales readiness tools. Sara is an experienced and strategic healthcare executive, having served in leadership roles at Optum and in healthcare consulting. Her experience has focused on technology and service solution innovation, building collaborative client relationships and designing effective go-to-market strategies.
Carmen Andreoli serves as the senior vice president of information technology and chief information security officer at Vatica Health. Carmen drives the company’s technology strategy to deliver secure, scalable and innovative systems. He leads cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring robust data protection and compliance with industry standards. With over 20 years of IT leadership experience, Carmen has held key roles across healthcare, automotive, and semi-conductor manufacturing sectors.
Tracy Drew is a strategic HR executive with over 20 years of experience leading high-impact people strategies across healthcare and technology. She brings a unique blend of operational expertise and emotional intelligence to her work—translating complex business needs into scalable, people-first solutions.
Andrea Kusick serves as the head of the finance team at Vatica, bringing over two decades of experience in financial services and strategic advisory. Prior to joining Vatica, she spent 10 years in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) consulting, where she spearheaded strategic initiatives and delivered executive-level guidance across financial and operational disciplines. Her career includes leadership roles at prominent firms, including Morgan Stanley, where she held the position of vice president in real estate portfolio management.
Loy is Vatica’s senior vice president of data fabric engineering and chief architect. He led the company’s software offering from its initial demo to full launch in late 2011. As one of four primary employees who laid the foundation for Vatica’s core product, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s technical vision. Loy also oversaw the transition to a cloud-native architecture and continues to work with the product and technology teams to scale the platform and adopt emerging technologies. He currently leads the enterprise data platform (EDP), which leverages multiple data lakes and software to provide data-driven insights across the Vatica ecosystem.
